Don't you love it when something you made for a card that ends up just not working inspires you to turn it into something else! This card features a piece that I originally made for an anniversary card. I was working on a collage card for the challenge yesterday and took the piece of embossed embossing which I'd dry embossed in the Vintage Wallpaper ef then heat embossed with gold ep after running my Versamark pad over the top of the raised part. I sponged Cherry Cobbler ink over this and LOVED the look, but didn't love it for the card I was currently making. I thought of this image which already had a vintage/retro feel. I stamped it in Versamark and embossed in detail black ep. I then used my Aqua pen and ink pads to color the images. I sponged Garden Green around the image and some Cherry Cobbler around the edges. I also added some Crystal Effects on the bells...I love how Soft Suede ink can appear metallic this way! I cut the image in an oval and layered it over another oval and added a Cherry Cobbler seam binding fork bow.
